Today- I bring you my first fashion post! Going into this “blogging thing” I thought to myself, how hard could this actually be? The answer is, freaking hard. I have a new-found appreciation for all the bloggers out there who make this look easy. I spent half the time frantically attempting to dress myself and my offspring in my Mini Cooper, the other half was dedicated to running after him in full sprint. Many ask, how do you find time to work out? The truth is, I don’t! I have no doubt that running after an 18-month old is more than enough cardio to meet my 30 minutes a day requirement. I laugh so hard looking at these pictures because my crew (photog and baby wrangler) and I literally just ran around for 2 hours chasing River. Many thanks goes out to my photographer, Yesi, and baby wrangler/ bff, Andrea, who both have more patience than most.
Happy Super Bowl Sunday! Here is a simple recipe for you to make that will make you the hit of the party! What I love about this recipe is you can use the leftover shredded beef for tacos, nachos, etc. You can get creative. Also- think outside of the box! If you don’t eat red meat, chicken is just as easy. 🙂
These were just too good not to post. This has got to be one of my favorite photo sessions to date! Growing up my parents didn’t really take that many pictures of my sister and I, looking back we wish we had more moments that were documented. This is a huge thing for me and why I personally feel it’s important in my family now to capture River growing up. Enjoy!

As I start to plan River’s second birthday bash I wanted to share with you his first birthday party pictures! It was a low key get together at Hyde Beach Kitchen and Cocktails. Super simple and fun.
I was born in Boulder, Colorado and raised on the west coast. This past May, I went back to visit my dad and my family. The landscape is absolutely breathtaking and I didn’t want to miss the opportunity in capturing that with River.
Well, hello there, 2017! I can’t believe how fast 2016 came and went, and not even the entire year but life in general has started to go faster and faster. With that in mind, 2017 is a fresh start for my intention in living life.
Hello All! What a magical month. Memphis and I headed to New York for fashion week and we came back engaged! He proposed in central park after dinner at The Oak Room at The Plaza. It was the most memorable moment of my life. The wedding is set to be in September 2011. Engagement what an exciting time of my life. I know we have some time to go but it has just been so much fun starting to plan this big event together. All I have to say is get ready to party!
Hey everyone….SBE has paired up with Global Green USA to raise money for Haiti.
SBE just opened another Hyde in Mammoth California. A few of us went up there last weekend to help out with the opening. It was the most snow I had ever been in, in my entire life. For all of you that are here on the West Coast you can remember how much it was raining here. Well all that rain was snow up in Mammoth and we got stuck the day we were supposed to come home. So the day we were stuck we turned lemons into lemonade and had a huge party… because that’s what we do best! For the uniforms I designed these awesome fur boot covers…the fashion in Mammoth is nonexistent so you can imagine the looks some of us got wearing brown faux fur boot covers….. but they are hot!
