No need to worry about a baby that has dry scalp. My baby had dry scalp not too long ago. One day, I rubbed on the head and noticed a strange looking brown bump. My mother said it was normal. Calling it the “cradle cap.” I was confused by this and decided to look on Google. Turns out, the brown spot on the baby’s head is something to do with dandruff. I did not want the scalp to be there, so I went online to look for a solution. With that, I found a solution for you and me. See the solution in these tips.
Can Be Treated by Washing
Washing the baby’s head daily is helps the dandruff go away. Perform this procedure daily and your baby will be on its way to having a smooth head. When you use the best shampoo for dry scalp, you increase the speed of dandruff removal. Shampoo does a good action of removing the scales and cracks the dandruff causes. All those ugly brown pixels are washed from existence.
To add more depth, wash the baby’s head with cold water. Cold water increases the performance by 4 times in strength. Removes dirt bacteria locked into each strand and adds more density to shampoo. More density means more chances of the dandruff on baby hair going away. Don’t be afraid to mix the best shampoo for dry scalp with cold water.
Unfortunately, most people use hot water on their kids thinking its safe. But, it is not safe to use because hot water tends to make hair strands weak and fall out. Dandruff can also multiply and become even harden in texture. Hot water does not make hair stronger. Feels good and that is the only thing beneficial. Not problems you want to have on top of baby dandruff. Add in the cold water and make the wash its best.
Always Use that Soft Wash Brush
You could use that old brush in the shower to wash baby head, though its best to use a soft brush. Soft brushes make the wash massage more smooth and precise. The baby’s skin also blends evenly with the brush hairs. Aligns almost perfectly with the brush because the babies have very soft skin. Makes sense to use a brush to wash their heads fast and comfortably. You know, hard brushes can make the baby hate you more and turn the dandruff into bigger dandruff. All things considered, put that soft brush in hand and brush up on baby.
Use Olive Oil to Make Process Go Faster
Olive oil can be applied to treat dandruff on babies. Olive oil is from the Earth. Filled with thick liquid that can lift the scalp up. The thickness wets the entire dandruff area and loosen parts that do not want to move. Olive oil is very slippery and that slippery stuff might be what your baby needs.
Today- I bring you my first fashion post! Going into this “blogging thing” I thought to myself, how hard could this actually be? The answer is, freaking hard. I have a new-found appreciation for all the bloggers out there who make this look easy. I spent half the time frantically attempting to dress myself and my offspring in my Mini Cooper, the other half was dedicated to running after him in full sprint. Many ask, how do you find time to work out? The truth is, I don’t! I have no doubt that running after an 18-month old is more than enough cardio to meet my 30 minutes a day requirement. I laugh so hard looking at these pictures because my crew (photog and baby wrangler) and I literally just ran around for 2 hours chasing River. Many thanks goes out to my photographer, Yesi, and baby wrangler/ bff, Andrea, who both have more patience than most.
It’s Valentine’s Day weekend and love is in the air! Well, sort of. More like stores are filled with cheap chocolates and cheesy gifts while restaurants are hosting overpriced prix-fixe menus, but I love eevvveerrryyy bit of it. I find most people have a love hate relationship with this Hallmark Holiday but I say embrace it! Whether you have a significant other or not, celebrate this day to share the love with all your family and friends! XOXOXOX
Happy Valentine’s Day! Here are the rest of the pictures from our shoot with Yesi. Enjoy!
Took a mini road trip with my friend Andrea (@EastCoastAv) to Homestead last weekend. We love searching and exploring for cool places to take pictures. She has been wanting to find this Sunflower field for awhile, and let me tell you well worth the drive.
It’s crazy that we are already into the second week of March! The weather has been incredible in Miami and we are trying to soak it all in before the hot muggy summer hits us. River and I enjoyed this beautiful day together at the beach last week and as I reviewed these pictures and put together this first post for March I couldn’t help but think about the song by OneRepublic “Marchin On”. We’ve been battling colds, cars have been broken into, there have been painful dentist visits, a fender bender, long work weeks…..and the list could go on but that’s life- right? We all just keep Marching on.
P.S.- Yes, River is in the same jumper as the previous post, I love a good jumper. So easy and comfy for him to run around in. K- Bye.
Happy First Day of Spring!!! Although seasons are pretty much non-existent here in South Florida, I am still going to pretend that this is a thing here and I am going all in. I thought the best way to start this new season would be with a bucket list.
Hello all! It’s almost the weekend and I am sharing with you my top 5 favorite activities with a toddler in this wild city we call home. When I first moved to Miami I had a hard time finding kid friendly things to do, I vowed to start a list and share it with all my fellow Miami Mommies. So, here it goes, places I frequent when I am not running errands on a Saturday afternoon.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful week thus far! Today, I wanted to discuss fashion and the impact it has on your mood and confidence. I have always been into fashion, ever since I was little. I am a firm believer that you truly dress for success, success in all areas of your life. For me, there is nothing better than a new outfit for any occasion in your life! Day-life, work-life, night-life, dinner, sleep, beach, etc.
One thing that I am so happy to see in my son that is similar to me is his love for smiling and laughing. I find it so important in my household to never take yourself to seriously and always smile your way through everything. Life is not always easy but there is always something to smile about! Keep reading to find out the benefits of turning that frown upside down!
